MoveOS Account and Data Deletion

If you want to delete your MoveOS account and associated personal data, you can request deletion by contacting us at astronomerjoe3@gmail.com or by submitting a request through https://move.cognispark.tech/delete-account/request.

How to request deletion

To request account deletion, please send your request from the email address linked to your MoveOS account, or include the phone number linked to your account, and use the subject line: Account Deletion Request.

  • your full name
  • your registered phone number
  • your registered email address, if any
  • whether your account is a rider account, driver account, or fleet account
  • the country where your account was created

To protect your account, we may ask you to verify your identity before we process the request.

What happens after you submit a request

Once we verify your request, we will begin the account deletion process. If you have any open trips, active disputes, unresolved wallet balances, pending payouts, chargebacks, or other unresolved transactions, we may need to resolve those items before your account can be fully deleted.

What we delete

When your deletion request is completed, we will delete or permanently de-identify personal data that is no longer required for legal, regulatory, fraud prevention, safety, security, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes. This may include:

  • your profile information
  • account login credentials
  • saved places and preferences
  • marketing preferences
  • non-essential support history
  • device/account links not required for security or compliance

What we may retain

Some data may be retained for a limited period where required by law, regulation, payment rules, tax obligations, fraud prevention, safety investigations, dispute resolution, security, or legitimate business recordkeeping. This may include:

  • trip and booking records
  • payment, wallet, payout, refund, and invoice records
  • tax and financial reporting records
  • safety, fraud, and abuse investigation records
  • support and complaint records related to legal or compliance matters
  • technical logs required for security and system integrity

Retention periods

Where retention is required, we may keep the relevant data for up to five years, or longer if required by applicable law, court order, regulatory obligation, or an ongoing investigation. After the retention period ends, the retained data will be deleted or permanently de-identified, unless further retention is legally required.

Important note

Deleting your account may limit or remove your ability to use MoveOS services, access trip history, receive support for prior transactions, or recover account-related information in the future.
